THE RECOMMEND
Last week, Paddy and I went on an Asheville Food Tours lunch junket to Isa's French Bistro, where I got a very huge and very delicious Croissant Madame, which had pit smoked ham, gruyère mornay, and a sunny side egg. It was excellent and very filling, I enjoyed the shit out of it, and crushed it despite being full about 2/3 of the way through. (Sorry Jenny Craig.) If you’re downtown, super hungry, and looking for something yummy that will stick to the ol’ ribs for the rest of the day, stop into Isa’s and get this beast. Also, service, atmosphere, and air conditioning were all on point. Thanks, Isa’s!

My fellow food fan, Dorian A., tagged me in a post on Facebook he made about a new TV show from FX on Hulu called The Bear.
“Episode 7! Wow. PTSD some but Wow! All my friends in food service should watch this gem. Stu Helm check it out.”
I haven’t made it to the PTSD inducing ep 7 yet, but Dawn and I crushed 1-4 in one night, and yeah, if you like TV shows that don't suck, I recommend The Bear.
