Good Morning, Friends!

Life can be a little frustrating at times, and lately it seems like it’s always Facebook’s fault. LOL. Recently Zuckernuts and his bored minions "force switched" (their words not mine!) me into using their broken, faulty, and super cumbersome "Business Suite" instead of Pages (which they forced us all to use a few years back), and I hate it. As Facebook becomes more and more difficult & annoying for me to work with, I'm emphasizing this newsletter, my own blog, and Ashvegas as alternative platforms to reach y’all with my food posts. I’m not saying I’m going to ditch Facebook altogether… but I might. Please sign up for a subscription to my newsletter if you haven't already, and ask your friends and such to sign up as well! MASK SIGNS STILL AVAILABLE… SADLY…

Remember that brief glorious period of time when there was’t a mask mandate. Yeah…. (looks off into nowhere with 1,000 yard stare… sings “Glory Days” quietly to self)

Maybe one day we can get there again, but for now, if you need any “Please Wear a Mask” signs, I have them in 2 languages and various degrees of niceness available to download for free on my blog.

FOOD POD UPDATE

Now that we have a proper site map, we can really start plotting out the configuration! Things might (probably will) change between what’s currently in our plans, and what the final design will look like. As always, please watch our progress as you driver in and out of downtown on I-26/I-240 just a tad West of the Westgate plaza.

ALSO: With the help of all the food fans on my Facebook page, and on WAX - West Asheville Exchange, I was able to put together a very comprehensive list of food tucks and carts in the area. You betcha I’ll be using this to build a great line-up of all-stars and newcomers for the Food Fan Food Pod. If you know of any that are not on my list, or if you see one on the list that you know is defunct, please leave a comment! I will see it for sure.

BAD PLAYLIST

This week’s playlist of bad music that I actually like and listen to is a weird jumble of strange, annoying, and unremarkable songs that I put together, just to groove to while I work. It features MC Cullah, Rodrigo Passannanti, Robbie Basho and a musical entity that appears to be called ▬‡▬☼♠♠♠☼▬‡▬. Cool. The whole playlist, which is called PL4YL15T001, is only about 28 mins long, and at times, it’s practically unlistenable. Enjoy!
