Last Night I went to the brand-dandy new Holeman & Finch Asheville, which used to be H&F Burger, and the house was generous enough to treat me to a fantastic array of delicious foods. I’ll record a podcast segment about it soon, but in the meantime, you can read a short review and see some pictures on Facebook HERE.

The world’s greatest piece of cheese is available on top of a very fine salad at Vivian in the River Arts District. This is nothing new, and I have featured this slad and piece of cheese in my writing and social media posts before. With a place like Vivian, where the menu tends to change with the seasons, it’s kind of a minor miracle that this piece of cheese is still there, being awesome. The salad is called the Salade de Saison on the menu, the cheese is a charred Hornbacher cheese, and it’s the greatest thing on Earth.
