GOOD MORNING, FRIENDS

How y’all doin’? I’ve got a doctor’s appoint this morning, so I’m just drinking coffee and waiting for that to happen. Then later today, I’m leading one of my new THC Tours downtown with Asheville Food Tours. We’re doing four or five food stops and two dispensaries this time. These tours have been super-fun! Right now is the slowest time of year for tours, so hard to tell if they will take off, but I hope they become popular! Spring will tell.

THE RECOMMEND

Remember how I recommended the Reuben spring rolls at Huli Sue’s Hawaiian BBQ a few weeks back? Well, I went in again recently, and got the full on Reuben sandwich, and yep, it was excellent. I will admit that when it first hit the table, I was concerned that the cheese had not melted… yehhht! It melted right in front of my eyes, and indeed, this sandwich was hotter than the surface of the sun, so the only real concern was for the first three layers of skin on the roof of my mouth! LOL. I settled down and ate some yummy fries while it cooled down, and then I ate the whole thing. It was delicious.

Crispy and buttery on the outside, meaty, savory, and ooey-gooey on the inside. So, it would seem as though, whether they come in the form of spring rolls or sandwiches, I’m recommended anything with the name Reuben at Huli Sue’s.
