Food Feed Posts on Ashvegas
I’ve been writing about food for Jason Sandford’s Ashvegas since 2013, when Jason first gave my “Facebook Food Critic” reviews a chance, and the public had decidedly differing opinions about my writing! Jason told me years later that he never received so many complaints, nor so much positive feedback as he did about my initial reviews. I’ve changed my writing style, my attitude, and my approach quite a bit since those early days, but I’m still hammering out at least one post per week for Jason and Ashvegas, most recently in the form of the “Food Feed.”
My weekly Food Feed posts are intended to highlight the best food related social media posts from the previous week, for folks who are not on Facebook, or might have missed one or more of my posts. If you have friends that don’t use Facebook, please let them know about the Food Feed on Ashvegas! Here are links to my two most recent Food Feed posts, Pambazo and NOLA Chicken & Shrimp…
Reviews & More on My Own Blog
In addition to writing for Ashvegas, I also have my own blog, the lesser known, but still informative stuhelmfoodfan.com. I use it to post longer reviews, such as the one of Ukiah Japanese Steakhouse, and most recently, the review of my return to Buxton Hall Barbecue after their year long hiatus from dine-in service. My blog is also the permanent home of things like my free downloadable “Please Wear A Mask” signs, my Travel Blogs from Portland and Alaska, the results of my various food competitions, like Punk Rock Hot Dogs 2021, and my “Big List” of every restaurant in Asheville, which is admittedly out of date right now, but still usable, and I’m working on it here and there when I have time. Plus, I just started chronicling My Epic Delivery Journey there as well.
