For lunch suggestions, try Khao Thai (if you haven't yet) on Hendersonville Road or Andaaz in Biltmore Village. (Had dinner there, where Rezaz used to be - it's outstanding if you like Indian food.) I haven't had their lunch buffet, but hear it's great. I also like El Patron for tacos (currently in a gas station) but a stand alone restaurant where Papas and Beer used to be in S. AVL is coming soon. Also Abuela's Kitchen in S. AVL. has a really good burger and delicious Chilaquiles. Finally, Pie Zaa in south slope. Huge, tasty NY pizza by the slice.

I would be honored to be a guest! I love food and Asheville has a surprisingly vibrant food scene for a "small city." Let me know what you have in mind and we'll work something out!
